This cultural dance is performed during celebratory festivals including weddings and the Chinese New Year. Originating amongst Chinese farming communities during the Han Dynasty of 180-230AD, the Dragon Dance is performed to ward off evil spirits and bad luck, and is thought to bring good fortune.

Russians and Ukrainians are dancing the Hopak, or the gopak in Russia . Named after the Ukranian term hopaty, meaning “to jump”, Russians and Ukranians have been performing this dance since the 16th century. The modern day hopak is often accompanied by woman adorned in traditional clothing, dancing alongside squatting, split-leaping men.

It comes from a country called Greece. Sirtaki is danced in a line or circle with hands held on neighbours' shoulders.The name sirtáki comes from the Greek word syrtos, which means "drag (or lead the dance)".Sirtaki mixes slower parts and faster parts.

Irish stepdance is a style of performance dance with its roots in traditional Irish dance. It is characterised by hard and fast movements and difficult footwork of its performers. Two types of shoes are worn in Irish stepdance; hard shoes, which make sounds similar to tap shoes, and soft shoes (called Ghillies), which are similar to ballet slipers

Mañana viernes 29 de mayo tendrá lugar un cambio puntual en la reunión Webex de matemáticas de 6ºA
- La reunión Webex de matemáticas de mañana, tendrá lugar el próximo lunes en la hora de reunión webex de tutoría.
- La reunión Webex de tutoría del lunes 1 de Junio tendrá lugar mañana 29 de mayo en la sala de Cova, donde también entrará Peter como en la últimas conexiones.
Por lo tanto quedará de la siguiente forma:
Viernes 29 Mayo a las 9:30 horas: reunión Webex de tutoría en la sala de COVA --- 165 639 094
Lunes 1 de Junio a las 17:00 horas: reunión Webex de matemáticas en la sala de Matías --- 848 891 078

How are you doing? This week we propose a three-dimensional exercise. I´ll show these examples to inspire you 😜
Materials: paper or cardboard, pencil, markers and your hands!
Steps:
1) Place your hand on the page and draw its shape with a pencil.
2) Draw straight and horizontal lines on the sheet with a pencil or a black marker, but in the shape of the hand draw curved lines.
3) Pay attention to the fingers, they are thinner and also their lines.
4) Use more colours to underline the lines.
5) When finish, with the technique under control, you will be able to do another 3dimensional activity.

ALTERNATIVA 28 MAYO
1.- Debes pensar algo que ves que no es correcto en la sociedad, y que te gustaría cambiar.
2.- Piensa qué harías, a través de internet, para intentar cambiarlo.
3.- Haz una "camapaña" con ese fin, puede ser en power point o en caso de tener dificultades para acceder a un ordenador en el cuaderno.
Debéis hacer entrega antes del 4 de junio.
