ARTS. June 12th. HOW TO MAKE A GARBAGE BAG KITE.

How to Make a Garbage Bag Kite

Materials Needed:

*2 skinny wooden sticks from the babecue.

 *1 garbage bag.

*duck tape.

*Ribbons and string.

Take some duck tape and tape it around all of the edges of the dowels. This will keep the dowels from making holes into your kite.

Now lay the cross onto the bag. Measure to make sure you have it evenly spaced on the sides and as close to the top of the bag as possible. Tape the stick in place at the edges of each of the sticks.
Now take and fold the top edges of the garbage bag in. Try and keep them neatly folded and even. Place tape on the front.

Your kite should look like this now. Cut off the drawstring part if your bag has one.

Tape the bottom of the bag.
Tie some ribbons onto the bottom of the kite.

Tie a piece of string or ribbon onto the kite just above the center of the cross.

Wait for a windy day and enjoy!

Arts June 5th

H O W   T O   M A K E   A   P H O N E   H O L D E R   📱

Hello guys! 😍

We know you have been holding many times your mobile phone while you were making a video call, watching a video or recording yourself doing a tik tok... So here you have the solution! 💡

MATERIAL YOU NEED:

- Toilet paper roll
- Markers, crayons, watercolors...🎨
- Scissors ✂
- Objects like sewing thread to decorate it
- 4 push pins 📌📌📌📌

STEPS:

1 - Place you phone over the paper roll and trace around it to mark the hole where the phone will stand once the holder is done.
2 - Now, take the scissors and cut out the toilet paper roll.
3 - Paint and decorate the paper roll with the materials you want.
4 - Now, pin a couple of pushing pins on both sides of the roll. Make sure the distance between the pins at one end and the ones at the other end is wider than your phone; this way the phone won't get scratched.

Now, it's time to leave your mobile phone inside your new phone holder.

Here you have some examples to get some ideas 😉😉

Have fun!

ARTS 29th May

H E L L O !

How are you doing? This week we propose a three-dimensional exercise. I´ll show these examples to inspire you 😜

Materials: paper or cardboard, pencil, markers and your hands!

Steps:

1) Place your hand on the page and draw its shape with a pencil.

2) Draw straight and horizontal lines on the sheet with a pencil or a black marker, but in the shape of the hand draw curved lines.

3) Pay attention to the fingers, they are thinner and also their lines.

4) Use more colours to underline the lines.

5) When finish, with the technique under control, you will be able to do another 3dimensional activity.

Thank you! Have a nice weekend!
